Method’s new manufacturing facility, located in the Pullman neighborhood of Chicago’s south side, is scheduled to open on Tuesday, April 28th. Roger Schickedantz, AIA, architect at William McDonough + Partners and a Director with the firm, will be attending the opening day event.
Designed by William McDonough + Partners, the new facility is LEED® Platinum certified, the first LEED Platinum manufacturing facility in the cleaning product sector. Method spokespeople say that new facility aims to bring in 100 manufacturing jobs to Chicago; the company plans to recruit from the local area.
