NASA Sustainability base has been covered in the Los Angeles Times. The article quotes Steven Zornetzer, Associate Center Director for Institution and Research at NASA Ames Research Center–

“Buildings of the future could actually produce more energy than they use and reverse the trend of being a big, sucking drain without compromising anything,” Zornetzer told the LA Times reporter. “This is the 21st century. You shouldn’t build something that could’ve been built in 1990.”
