Last week, at the third of three GreenBiz.com State of Green Business Forums, this one in Washington, DC, Bill McDonough did a keynote “interview” on state with GreenBiz.com’s Joel Makower, speaking right after the GSA administrator Martha Johnson spoke about her agency’s green priorities (and how GSA leaders recently read Cradle to Cradle and are looking for ways to draw its wisdom through their operations and policies).
Bill and Joel talked about Cradle to Cradle as a new design paradigm. Bill reminded Joel and the audience how how a Cradle to Cradle vision is meant to inspire positive goals, not goals of zero (waste, carbon, energy, etc.). Cradle to Cradle aims for abundance.
