GreenSource editor Jane Kolleeny was in Barcelona last week for the Shape Sustainable Thinking Forum and Construmat.
Bill McDonough was a speaker at the Forum, and he had some very good company– a virtual who’s who in leading voices in sustainable design from around the world! He had a chance to talk about one of the firm’s most exciting current projects, a laboratory/office facility for Ferrer Grupo near Barcelona, which is designed to include a green atrium that will also be host to ancient butterfly species. Bill envisions that local schools will bring classes to see the butterflies released and learn about the species and habitats.
