Today is the first day of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s third Governor’s Global Climate Summit, being hosted at UC Davis. Bill McDonough kicked off this afternoon’s Race to Green Action panel with a keynote speech: “Renewably Powering the World: A Cradle to Cradle Vision.”
This is a two-day summit that includes several governors and many other subnational and national leaders from around the world–the UK prime minister, David Cameron, will join by satellite. Many other businesses, NGO, and others will participate, and on the closing day, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be announcing his new R20 initiative.
