William McDonough + Partners Meadow Farm House was recently featured on Contemporist, an online community and daily source of contemporary design, architecture, design, art and travel.
The publication highlights products and projects by contemporary designers from around the world. The article titled “This Home Is Harvesting Solar Power From Its Wavy Roof,” describes the unique wavy roof design and solar panels. The main farm house, a LEED Platinum certified structure, consists of a series of pavilions with the wavy rooftops made from zinc. The design echoes waves and wind patterns from the ocean.
